All areas of our lives from our clothing to communication satellites are based on materials. The higher the volume in these markets, the higher the price pressure. As a result, the best technical solutions cannot be used in mass markets. FibreCoat is changing that. By producing composite fibres at high speeds, we achieve exceptional properties at low cost. Aluminium-coated basalt filaments already available on the market achieve the properties of full metal fibres at one-tenth of the price. This cost advantage makes highly technical applications inexpensive and entirely new products feasible for the first time.
