EnergyCC convenes a joined-up industry-led platform to share experience on how to reduce carbon emissions and to create further industry-led action on COP21. This innovative learning forum links energy producers with investors: i) focuses on cross network learning, sharing best-in-class which can be scaled up and replicated ii) seeks new business lines by bringing together the oil, gas, mining industries’ deep engineering and project management skills with those in low carbon technologies iii) demonstrates how new business lines are creating new jobs EnergyCC is comprised of experienced individuals with a background in all of these industries. In addition to its leadership, EnergyCC draws on and amplifies the practical work already underway in these industries to speed up, replicate, and scale up successful ongoing approaches. We are particularly motivated to seek the input of young people in the work that we do.
