We seek to make the Internet safer through research focusing on how professionals build, operate, use, and defend systems. We draw on human-computer interaction and social science methods to investigate how these professionals make security decisions and how they work together on teams and within the broader community. Our goal is to create more usable tooling to best leverage their skills and reduce the security work's barriers to entry.
