The Internal Medicine Society of Australia and New Zealand (IMSANZ) represents the interests of Specialist General Internal Medicine Physicians throughout Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific region (also known as General Medicine or General and Acute Care Medicine). IMSANZ provides a focus for general physicians with a broad range of skills and experience to meet in a collaborative forum and maintain skills and knowledge essential to their chosen field of General Internal Medicine. IMSANZ membership is open to physicians and trainees practising General Medicine, including General Physicians with a subspecialty interest as well as subspecialists who practice General Medicine. Associate Membership is available for registered allied health clinicians and nurses practicing in General Medicine, Acute Medicine Units or generic chronic disease programs.
