www.cahra.netFounded in 1951, the Central Arkansas Human Resource Association (CAHRA) is the oldest and largest association of HR professionals in Central Arkansas and is the only one nationally affiliated with the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI). Representing more than 300 members, CAHRA provides education and networking opportunities to area HR professionals. CAHRA is the leading Central Arkansas association for HR professionals that exists to: Provide high quality, dynamic, and educational programs and services to our members. Advocate on behalf of the HR profession at the state and local level. Provide leadership opportunities through volunteer services that enhance professional and personal growth. CAHRA strives to be the leading association for HR professionals that exists to build and sustain partnerships that will make a positive impact on the HR profession and the greater Central Arkansas business community. The Chapter adopts SHRM's Code of Ethical and Professional Standards in Human Resource Management for members of the Association in order to promote and maintain the highest standards among our members. Each member shall honor, respect and support the purposes of this Chapter and of SHRM. The Chapter shall not be represented as advocating or endorsing any issue unless approved by the Board of Directors. No member shall actively solicit business from any other member at Chapter meetings without the approval from the Board of Directors.
