Mougalian Rugs was founded by Robert Mougalian in a small room in his farm house in Buxton, ME in the 1970’s. Through the years our business has been through transformative growth. From changing locations and expanding, acquired another carpet businesses and then changed ownership and leadership to Randall Mougalian, Roberts son. Today, the business is operated from Portland, ME and is proud to continue the legacy of Robert Mougalian. With almost five decades in the business of quality area carpets, we are proud of our hand-picked selection. Our carpets come in an array of colors and designs and can instantly upgrade the look and feel of any room. We have expanded our lines to include a large inventory of traditional, transitional and contemporary handmade rugs. We work directly with our customers as well as collaborating with some of the best interior designers in the area.
