C. Melchers & Co. was established in Bremen, Germany in 1806 as a private partnership. In 1866, with the founding of Melchers & Co., Hong Kong, the company had established its foothold in Asia. Established in 1993, Melchers Trading GmbH (Taiwan Branch) originated from The Pao Trading (HK) Ltd., which was founded in 1971 as a fully owned subsidiary of the Melchers Group. Melchers Taiwan Branch with offices in Taipei, Taichung and Kaohsiung is engaged in the import and distribution of agricultural tools, hand and power tools for retail and professional users as well as technical consumer goods for the retail market. Melchers Travel is a travel agency specializing in group and corporate travel as well as services to the expatriate community in Taiwan. Celinius is experienced in providing sourcing assistance for overseas customers, focusing on customized products from Taiwan and China.
