Shiloh Museum of Ozark History

www.shilohmuseum.org

The Shiloh Museum of Ozark History serves the public by preserving and providing resources for finding meaning, enjoyment, and inspiration in the exploration of the Arkansas Ozarks. We have numerous exhibits, both permanent and temporary, that explore the history and culture of the Ozarks in Benton, Washington, Carroll, Madison, Newton, and Boone counties. We also offer school programs for school-aged children, events and programs for adults, and numerous community events throughout the year. Our campus includes the museum and seven other historic buildings, including the Shiloh Meeting Hall, Cooper Barn, Steele General Store, Dr. John C. Carter's Office, Cartmell Outhouse, Ritter-McDonald Log Cabin, and the Searcy House. The museum itself has a large meeting hall, exhibit space, office space, and collections storage. Recent acquisitions include two adjacent duplexes used for our digital imagery lab, exhibit construction space, and administration office space.
