Fondazione Ortygia, conceived by the economist Lucrezia Reichlin, is a center of excellence aimed at fostering economic co-operation and development among the countries of the Mediterranean. The School provides the skills and knowledge to help future business leaders succeed in turbulent institutional contexts, focusing on the specifics of local industries and markets, while bringing a global perspective, knowledge of the world economy, and best practices from international business. OBS offers business education in the form of executive courses and high-level meetings between managers, academics and policy makers.
