The Arts Council of Henderson County is a community organization that promotes, advocates for, and nurtures the arts in Henderson County and Western North Carolina. The Arts Council administers grant funds provided by the North Carolina Arts Council through the Grassroots Arts Program for nonprofit organizations, and through the Regional Artist Project Grants for individual artists. The Arts Council also provides funding for Arts in Schools with support from Henderson County Government. The Arts Council also produces exhibitions, performances, and Art on Main, a yearly outdoor art festival along Hendersonville, NC's historic Main Street.
