Changsha International English is a jointly owned and managed Australian and Chinese Training Centre. The focus of this school is on western academic standards and practices, driven by highly motivated Foreign English Teachers that are carefully selected for their enthusiasm, knowledge and personal integrity. A typical teacher profile is young, TESOL qualified with a Bachelor degree. Changsha IETC specialises in Examination Preparation English Courses, Business English Classes for Commerce, and Academic English Booster Courses for students. Our classes may be conducted either on our premises, or at a venue of your choice. Each student is assessed for their level of English ability, and placed in a class that is appropriate to their skills. Examination Preparation Classes focus on ensuring the candidate understands the structure of the exam with comprehensive advice on fulfilling its requirements. These classes are conducted over a twelve week period so the student has adequate preparation time, and can approach it with a comfortable and relaxed outlook, free of anxiety. Classes for key executive staff in commerce have content targeting the relevant participating industry group. In addition to improving listening and speaking skills of the students, the etiquette of dealing with western businesses is covered. The full appreciation of industry jargon and building relevant vocabulary is a feature of these courses.
