Our passion is to support researchers (specifically early career researchers) and postgraduate students to grow the digital and interpersonal skills that will allow them to be more efficient and relevant in their work. We want to share Reproducible Research and Open Science practices, Open Educational Resources, Open Data, and Open Source software along with the power of communities of practice and collaboration to enable and empower people. Talarify operates in a niche environment where academia, industry, non-profits, entrepreneurs, government and society all come together to make a difference. We are best known for work with universities to grow digital and computational capacity amongst researchers and postgraduate students across all disciplines. Over the past years we’ve collaborated with all 26 public universities in South Africa as well as universities in Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Ethiopia, Mauritius, Gabon, and more. Further abroad we’ve collaborated with academics and non profit organisations in the USA, UK, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
