We are a student-run innovation lab where creative ideas come to life. We aim to overcome barriers to affordable living by designing and realizing affordable housing options that enrich quality of life, community, and the environment. Students from all disciplines are invited to explore the issue of affordable housing, innovate through creative experimentation, and inspire change. Throughout the year, we will provide students opportunities to participate in hands-on workshops, seminars with the experts, field trips, design studio sessions and prototyping projects. These events will all culminate with our summer building projects that integrate our explorative efforts and showcase innovative affordable living solutions. Our building projects will provide students with hands-on experience through building retreats and also promote collaboration with academic and industry leaders. Finally, we will use our building projects and creative media to raise awareness for these affordable future living options.
