TRAC FM transforms passive radio listeners into active participants through interactive radio debates. Using SMS based radio polls we collect data and use it to amplify the collective opinions of remote communities. TRAC FM works in countries in Africa and Asia on a wide range of topics ranging from the impact of Covid-19 to democratic awareness and the rights of people with disabilities. In all campaigns, citizens take center-stage by participating in SMS poll questions aired on FM radio stations. Over 1.5 million people have responded to one or more poll question aired on our partner stations. Data is used to advocate for pro-citizen policies or to provide our partners with key information from the grassroots. Conducting poll questions on radio is both cost effective and highly inclusive.
