Etisal is the first non-governmental- organization resides in Asyut city (Upper Egypt) which serves and supports youth and entrepreneurs all over Upper Egypt in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector to develop their startups and grow their revenues. Also, Etisal has implemented a number of projects that promotes women empowerment. Etisal Assiut has been collaborating with a European Union, Finland Embassy, U.S. Department of State, Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) and Care International for the past several years that were dedicated to foster public awareness, engagement, and understanding of entrepreneurship and women empowerment through ICT in Upper Egypt. We have received other funding from the different Networks in previous years as well, and they were filled with much fun, hands-on activities that worked well with a wide range of audiences including youth, entrepreneurs, and women, which expanded training opportunities, job opportunities, matchmaking opportunities and accessing to microfinance institutions.
