Friends of City Park has raised millions of dollars for capital improvement projects in City Park, which include the restoration of the Historic Wooden Carousel, restoration of the Peristyle, help in funding the construction of City Putt, NOLA City Bark, the Conservatory of the Two Sisters, Marconi Drive Bike Path, and more. Friends of City Park sustains its efforts from its robust membership program that offers benefits to members, which stands at more than 5,000 members and growing.
