To Engage, Develop and Collaborate The Asia Pacific Post cooperative is a membership organisation for national Postal Operators from the Asia Pacific Region, operating in one of the most diverse postal regions in the world we boast a current membership of 28 national postal operators across the region. Its sole purpose is to support members Interests. As a cooperative organization, APP’s sole source of revenue is membership fees and the APP does not levy any additional fees to its members for any of the services it provided. APP’s stated mission is to assist members to enhance their market share; improve the quality of their services and address overall operational, commercial, technical and economic issues of postal services in the Asian-Pacific region. The rapid developments and material changes in the postal market such as deregulation, privatization of postal operators, digital migration of commercial mail, payment methods and new competition from non-postal logistics service providers are some of the challenges facing the postal industry today. Each individual member best understands its domestic market environment and the changes therein, and is responding to them by accelerating change, faster decision-making, and with new services and products. As such, members’ expectations and requirements of APP are changing as is the need for the APP to respond to these market changes and to be agile in its actions to fulfil its mission.
