Here at Techtastic.org.uk, we believe no young person should miss out on online learning. Working in the Calderdale and surrounding regions, we collect, refurbish and distribute unwanted laptops and tablets to young people without the technology to access online learning. Managed by a small team of volunteers and funded entirely by public donations, we convert unwanted laptops into Chromebooks or where possible, upgrade them with new components and operating systems. The devices are then distributed to local schools to be allocated to a young person to keep for as long as they need.
