Last Hope Animal Charity is a voluntary foster-based rescue dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of domestic animals. Last Hope is composed of volunteers, willing to foster, transport, or otherwise assist in this massive rescue effort. The charity is supported entirely by donations and fundraisers. As the charity is a network of foster homes, the number of animals LHAC can care for at a given time depends on the number of available fosterers. No one is a paid employee; all are volunteers and pet owners. The charity actively supports programs such as Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR), which help decrease the number of homeless pets.
