We are DJS Skylark, a team of undergraduate Aero-Enthusiasts pursuing an Engineering Degree from Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering (Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal), Mumbai, India. We participate in SAE Aero Design, an annual International competition for Radio Controlled Aircraft, which is held in the 1st week of March/April, in USA. In this competition, Aero Enthusiasts from over 80 leading universities across the world come together to showcase their talents in designing, fabricating, and flying RC Aircrafts. Ever since our inception in 2014, we have successfully represented our country and college at SAE Aero Design each year. Our latest achievements at SAE Aero Design 2021, USA are: Regular Class: ● 1st Worldwide for Design Report ● 3rd Worldwide for Technical Presentation ● 6th Overall Worldwide Micro Class: ● 3rd Worldwide for Design Report ● 5rd Worldwide for Technical Presentation ● 4th Overall Worldwide With this, we bagged the 1st Rank in India and Asia Pacific throughout.
