Medical Physics Services (“MPS®”) provides radiation therapy physics consulting services throughout the United States. Our group is full-time dedicated to the commissioning and implementation support of new radiation oncology equipment. Similar services are offered for locations outside of the United States through our Irish corporate affiliate, Medical Physics Services International Limited (“MPSi”). Whether carried out by MPS or MPSi, our work is not done on the side or exclusively on weekends, this work is our full-time specialty. MPS and MPSi provide cost effective and prompt service through its teams of highly qualified and certified professionals. Using MPS’s or MPSi’s experienced professionals allows your staff to concentrate on its daily clinical activities and responsibilities. MPS and MPSi specialize in commissioning Varian linear accelerators, including the Trilogy and the new TrueBeam and Edge systems. We have worked with most treatment planning systems currently on the market. By using our team, you can implement your new equipment quickly and efficiently without compromising on either quality or accuracy. All of our services can be tailored to your specific needs. Our physicists will work mostly at your clinic throughout the commissioning process: from beam data acquisition and validation through the final validation of the treatment planning system and configuration. Your staff can be as involved in these processes as they wish. We will share our knowledge and experience with your staff so they can improve their skills and broaden their experience at the same time that the equipment is being commissioned.
