The mission of InnovÉÉ is to assist in the development of electricity technologies including electric vehicles, grids and power generation, by funding collaborative pre-competitive research projects by means of sharing expertise and resources from industrial partners and research facilities. Its main objectives are: Stimulate the identification and development of pre-competitive research initiatives; Come together in collaborative partnerships to share resources and expertise available in enterprises and research facilities with the goal of creating technological advancements; Participate in co-funding collaborative research projects to accelerate the potential for industrial development and competitive market positioning of its members; Transfer technology, skills, competencies and knowledge from academic circles and industrial R&D to accelerate the development of highly qualified human resource.
