The American Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Association (ABCA) is a newly filed Washington, DC-based membership-driven not-for-profit trade association aiming to advance a vision for how distributed technologies and cross-border innovations - such as cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies - can lead to sound markets and the more efficient delivery of services. The ABCA's leadership team brings to bear decades of practical, real-world experience in the area of financial services technology, cyber-security, securities law and regulation, business development and networking, as well as experience in the recent phenomena of blockchain-based distributed computing and cryptocurrency markets.  ABCA is also backed by a community of industry market participants - including early-stage startups, investors, coin miners, entrepreneurs, and academics - to help inform and shape the community.
