MINSUS is a German Cooperation Programme that aims to promote regional cooperation for a more sustainable management of mining resources in the Andean countries. The regional counterpart of the Programme is the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), and the executing institutions are the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and the Geosciences and Natural Resources Federal Institute (BGR) of Germany.
