DYBAN International is one of the progressive offices in the fields of design practice and interdisciplinary studies. DYBAN members have pioneered, during the last fifteen years, an approach to art and architecture through a diverse range of work, from design, competitions, exhibitions, seminars and publication. Based in Tehran, with joint ventures in Geneva, Paris and New York, the practice aims international bridges, collateral ongoing dialogues, and an active presence in social and human sciences. All work is implemented within influential integrated and sustainable contextual frames of action with miscellaneous projections of interest in different interrelated disciplines. Following a professional partnership launched in 2001, its inception took place in 2009. The corpus acts as a collaborative reunion of dedicated experts in different generative domains of architecture, project management, construction, art, progressive design and avant-garde visions. The challenge, in the present conditions, is to explore how the deeply entrenched histories and heritage of Iran are being reimagined and how questions of the extraordinary artistic diversity are being reinterpreted in its art and architecture present context to achieve a new cultural dynamic in innovative expressions.
