Capital Area Recreation Inc., better known as CARI, is Charlottetown and surrounding area's newest and most comprehensive athletics facility! Complete with Aquatics and Arena Facility there is surely something for everyone! Born out of community based partnerships this not-for-profit entity governed by a Board of Directors is strategically located adjacent to the UPEI Sports Centre, which makes it convenient and accessible for both students of the University and residents of Charlottetown and surrounding area. This new building features an Aquatics facility with competitive and leisure pools, 2 NHL-sized ice surfaces, the Seniors Active Living Centre, Andrews Hockey Growth Programs, East Side Mario's Express and the UPEI Fitness Centre.
