The Welding Institute (Institut za varilstvo d.o.o.) is a private corporate with the status of a scientific research organization. It is also an independent Conformity Assessment Body for certification of persons, products, processes and services and testing in the field of welding and pressure equipment. Among others, it is engaged in education, consulting, design, supervision, the production of equipment, welding work and research. 1. Education - performing European/international specializations for all welding personnel in accordance with the EWF/IIW guidelines, - the education and training of non-destructive testing personnel in accordance with EN ISO 9712, - the education and training of welders, - conducting seminars and other education in the field of welding. 2. Accredited Certification Body for certification of persons in accordance with EN ISO/IEC 17024 - for certifying all welding personnel - for certifying of non-destructive testing personnel in accordance with EN ISO 9712. 3. Accredited Laboratories in accordance with EN ISO/IEC 17025 - performing all types of mechanically tests on welded joints, - performing all types of non-destructive tests, - testing of welding power sources. 4. Accredited Certification Body for certification of products, processes and services in accordance with EN ISO/IEC 17065 - certification of pressure equipment - certification of welding procedures for metal materials - certification of factory production control for steel and aluminium structural components - certification of the quality systems for fusion welding of metallic materials - certification of the quality systems in the production of pressure equipment 5.
