Aponix creates special component based horticulture equipment to bring more plants into urban areas. All components are made in Germany and provide max modularity and versatility. We usually collaborate with product-/implementation partners and maintain a large network of global 'users' to exchange on ideas and solutions. The equipment is widely used in urban communities, education, research and in small to medium sized farming operations. Solutions available: + The aponix vertical barrel system extends the de-facto standards of soil-less plant cultivation from the horizontal plane (NFTs or gutters) into the 3rd dimension at professional standards. It is meant to be a competitor to any other tower solution or using racks to go vertical. + The living WallSystem provides very robust building blocks to set up any size of variable living walls. The equipment can be used to set up recirculating hydro-cultures, substrate based urban sponge systems or use it creatively as wall bio-filter in an aquaponic system. + Young Plant Tray Set: Grow strong young plants if you do not have access to a greenhouse with flood tables for soilless cultures in standard 2-inch netpots, but also for substrate bound young plants and especially microgreens. Base size is the classical 1010 or 1020 tray size. + Substrate vertical barrel: Vessel for substrate bound cultures. The barrel can be extended with internal logic for drainage and irrigation and be put or rolling or rotation bases. There is a much more robust City XL variant for public spaces.
