HAL Management Academy (HMA) established in 1969, celebrated its Golden Jubilee in the year 2019. HMA, the Learning & Development Centre of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited has been contributing in the field of Aerospace Technology & Management. As an Aeronautical giant and as one of the largest Aeronautical Complexes in Asia with 21 Production Divisions and 10 R&D Centres, HAL has a wealth of knowledge and experiential learning in the field of Aerospace Technology and Management. Utilising this knowledge pool and faculty with industry experience, HMA has emerged as a Centre for Aerospace Technology and Management. People development initiatives take a strategic role for driving business results. In this direction, a wide variety of training programs are conducted by HMA for Executives, Professionals, Students and Trainees; catering from entry level to the senior most level in the organisation to develop functional, operational, technical, managerial and leadership competencies. HMA has received approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for its 15 month full time Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Aviation Management (PGDAM) programme in the year 2018. HMA has taken additional approval from AICTE to run 24 month full time Post Graduate Diploma in Aviation Management and Post Graduate Diploma in Production Management in the year 2020. The PGDM batch comprises both experienced and fresher candidates from various degree backgrounds.The basic curriculum is at par with  premier Management institutes in the country with additional exposure and training from  industry experts.
