Brussels Office of the Swedish Trade Unions
www.fackligt.euLO/TCO/Saco:s Brysselkontor – Fackliga Brysselkontoret The Brussels Office of the Swedish Trade Unions is jointly run by the Swedish Trade Union Confederation (LO), the Swedish Confederation for Professional Employees (TCO) and the Swedish Confederation of Professional Associations (Saco). Together we represent around 3.4 million workers on the Swedish labour market and defend their interests at EU level. The main task of the Brussels Office is to cover EU politics in general and to support the work of LO, TCO and Saco and their affiliates to shape and influence EU policies that are of particular interest to workers, such as economic policy, labour market policy and social policy. The office plays an important role as a link between Sweden and the EU, by assisting our affiliates with contacts and information in Brussels. In addition, we welcome more than 1000 visitors every year, and draw up programmes for trade unionist groups who want to learn more about EU politics and the institutions.
