Run. Jump. LEAD!
www.runjumplead.comRun. Jump. LEAD! is an organization committed to fostering equitable opportunities for girls in sport and leadership. Through hands-on activities and physical literacy training with like-minded coaches and mentors, we learn how to positively impact our homes, communities, and most importantly, ourselves. We recognize the proven link between girls who engage in physical activity in their childhood and adolescence and those who continue on into leadership roles in their careers later on in life. Our mission to keep girls in sport by building fundamental physical literacy and leadership skills ultimately fosters tomorrow's female leaders. Our coaches and mentors nurture the development of leadership traits and expose girls to early childhood leadership training. By providing a connection to female peers and role models, we can significantly impact a girl’s perception of her ability to lead. Developing physical literacy early in life lays the foundation for later success in the life-long participation in physical activity, especially in girls. It is imperative that our physical activity programs are built for the specific needs of girls in order to gain the physical and psychological benefits that staying active offers.
