Established over a century ago we are a family business spanning five generations and take great pride in growing, cutting, packing, washing niche salad products for all sectors of the food industry. Having started in 1907 on a small rented field in Thornton-Cleveleys Lancashire, we have grown to become one of the UK’s leading specialist Salad Cress, Pea Shoot and Micro Leaves producers. In 1990 we moved to our current premises in Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire and our business has continued to invest to ensure its growing methods and techniques produce consistent high quality, ethical and environmentally responsible salad products all year round. We ensure our customer expectations are met and the appropriate food safety standards are maintained. Our crops are grown in the United Kingdom, without the use of pesticides and are licensed to carry the Red Tractor logo. Third party accreditations include the BRC, the Assured Produce Scheme and Field to Fork.
