CAREERS Support Solutions is a non-profit that empowers students and adults throughout Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess Counties, New York to achieve the satisfaction of meaningful employment. We prepare individuals with learning, intellectual, developmental, psychiatric or physical disabilities and/or low socioeconomic status for employment by teaching workforce readiness skills. Our Supported Work Program utilizes a one-on-one focus to identify our clients’ strengths and help them attain the job and soft skills they need to be successful. CAREERS then generates creative job placements, considering what is appropriate for each individuals’ abilities and interests. Once placed, we provide ongoing training and follow-along support for as long as is necessary to keep our clients successfully employed. We offer targeted programs tailored for specific populations, including our High School Transition Program and our Workforce Readiness, Placement and Training Program. All of our services are provided at no cost to the individual, their families or employer.
