The South West Food Collective

www.thesouthwestfoodcollective.org

We are The South West Food Collective, a newly created charity that collects surplus food from a range of suppliers and redistributes it to charities in the South West, completely free of charge. With the success of our partnership last year with Bestival, where we collected and saved over two thousand pounds worth of produce after the festival, we will be back at Bestival this August 2018, and are looking for more festivals or events that might be interested in working with us over the festival period. As well as collecting from vendors, we also collect any surplus that customers might have after the event/festival which has a threefold benefit - alleviating the customers need to carry excess food home, helping to clear the site and also of course, for the charities who will receive the surplus food at the end. We are always interested in talking to new partners or collaborators to work with. If you would like to find out more about what we do, or how we could help at your event or festival, you can contact us by emailing us at info@thesouthwestfoodcollective.org or keep up to date with what's going on by following us on instagram: @thesouthwestfoodcollective
