With this in mind, we have decided to restructure the group to better suit our client’s needs. Client satisfaction is our key objective and this is illustrated by our growing portfolio of repeat clients and why we work with many of the UK’s largest developers and contractors. The business units are now known as FDS Contracting, FDS Maintenance and FDS Consult (UK). As the name implies, FDS Contracting is the contracting part of the business and will no longer cross over the other disciplines. Similarly, FDS Maintenance is a standalone maintenance company servicing both FDS and 3rd party non-FDS installed systems. FDS Consult (UK) is purely responsible for fire consultancy and will no longer be taking on contracting or maintenance work. FDS Group will continue to lead innovation, providing systems that achieve the highest standards of safety and building regulations compliance whilst also considering the client’s commercial objectives such as space maximisation and construction costs. We provide a complete solution for clients including design, supply, installation, commissioning, service and maintenance. We work with clients across a wide spectrum of requirements from fire engineering design advice through to value engineered innovative design and install solutions for large scale mixed used building projects. Our integrated service delivers reliable, cost effective fire system solutions to create safer environments that achieve building regulation approvals and address issues such as space maximisation and architectural aesthetics.
