The consultancy was founded by two award-winning architects, Sarah El Battouty and Andrea Bergonzini, who have been collaborating on several projects. The background of the team is global and is headed by LEED and CeDep certified architects. The consultancy is also the founder and board member of the renowned World Green Building Council’s Egypt unit EGGBC. We have been selected as the most sustainable architectural practice in Egypt recognized by Built It Green Eco-District for 2015. The founders come from a prestigious heritage of architectural families with over 50 years of remarkable projects. This exposure has shaped the diversity and thinking of the ECOnsult team.
