The cookies were too good not to be shared and so Oxford’s Covered Market became our home with the original shop opening in 1984. Helge coined the name after her son Ben (that’s him in our logo, drawn by her good friend and renowned illustrator Sir Quentin Blake). This shop, with our simple freshly-baked cookie outlook, is still going strong today. So is our business, with new shops appearing in select locations in England and around the world.
