Techs with Heart
www.techswithheart.orgTechs with Heart is a start-up 501c3 nonprofit organization based in Richmond, TX with a mission to provide technological resources to children and individuals in need. Our organization came to existence because of the generosity and kindness of people in the information technology industry. By giving technological resources to people with no or limited access to information technology, we empower and support them. Our Story Behind every idea there is an inspiration. I founded Techs with Heart with the help of many volunteers on the belief that we can empower others by giving them the tools to learn and educate themselves. My inspiration is my grandfather, Ralph Bordeaux. He came back from World War II, and had the personal drive to educate himself and went from a job cleaning portable toilets at the airport to retire as the Associate Vice President at Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, NC. He was a pioneer in adult education and would always push you to never stop learning. He learned Spanish when he was 70 and without any computer education background, he supported education programs in computers. He passed from this world into God's loving hands in September 2012. He is my inspiration to help other help themselves, and to never stop learning. Randy Bordeaux Techs with Heart President USN Veteran
