Waikato Bay of Plenty (WaiBOP) Football Federation was established in 2000 with the aim of promoting football in the 3rd District Federation of NZ Football. Since the establishment of WaiBOP in 2000 the federation continuously developed the WaiBOP region's football and dealing with both width as elite football; including, among other football activities for children and young people, tournaments, coaches and player education.
