The Student Government Association (SGA) is the official representative body for students attending DePaul University. As such, SGA is committed to promoting and advocating the student voice and opinion. Our mission might be best summed up in the phrase, "We are interested students working for student interests!" SGA is a student organization and facet of the university’s governance structure comprised of an executive branch, senators, and liaisons representing every student constituency at DePaul. In the past, SGA has led the charge in a number of key issue areas including, but not limited to, fighting for the longevity of the Monetary Award Program (MAP ), securing university funding for the extension of library operation hours, and promoting campus affinity and student well-being. This regularly brings us face-to-face with University administrators and state and local officials.
