CityBridge Community Church
www.citybridgechurch.orgConnecting a broken city and broken people to the Good News of Jesus Christ. We are a community transformed by the Gospel of Jesus and devoted to following Him. In the summer of 1998, a group of friends met to consider what it would look like to prayerfully pursue a life of faithfulness to Scriptures as they devoted their lives to Christ together in Dallas. By the end of 1999, this core group had grown to 150 people who covenanted together to serve Christ and His purposes. These friends’ faithful obedience sparked change in Dallas County as Jesus converted people, healed marriages, and equipped thousands of people for the work of ministry. They couldn’t keep that hope contained only in Dallas, so a steadfast group of members uprooted their lives to plant a Plano campus of Watermark. The Lord moved mightily in and through our body over the past 6 years. Our Watermark Plano campus was mature enough in its leadership, membership, and financial sustainability to be its own independent church! We are confident this next step will allow us to more faithfully and effectively raise up fully devoted followers of Christ in Collin County and beyond. After 6 years of "being the church" in Collin County, Watermark Plano launched as CityBridge Community Church. Though we changed our name, our mission is unchanged: We call all people to full devotion to Jesus Christ. We strive to create a safe place with a high call.
