Under the leadership of Dr. Peter Ma, Chairman of Ping An, Ping An Ventures, the first VC fund in China’s financial industry, was founded in 2012 with￥1bil of start-up funds from Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China, Ltd. It has an investment and operation team of 30 people, and several Ping An executives are advisors of the fund. Ping An Ventures is devoted to start-up and early-stage investment mostly in the China market or innovation enterprises related to China. Our aim is mutual success with those start-ups that share our goals by engaging in industrial evolution, promoting technological innovation and facilitating growth of partners.
