Amanda Gourgue founded Meeting Revolution in response to her own moral epiphany about social responsibility, particularly related to a dire need for more sustainable business events. Having planned and attended many business events and conferences, Amanda was troubled by the amount of waste she witnessed firsthand and was determined to use her own professional expertise to be part of a solution to a growing global issue. In response to what she saw as a significant and unmet need for sustainable and green event planning, Amanda Gourgue started Meeting Revolution. Sustainable events provide an opportunity to evoke positive and meaningful change via the implementation of sustainable event planning practices. Amanda’s original vision, which remains the company’s guidepost, includes a steadfast resolve to help businesses go greener and increase profitability while working smarter.
