It’s main subsidiary Wilhelmsen Meridian Navigation Ltd is a major shipping and trading house in Sri Lanka establishing its name in the shipping agency business. In 1995 MNL entered into a Joint Venture partnership with Wilh Wilhelmsen ASA., of Oslo Norway establishing Barwil Meridian Navigation Ltd (BMNL) and subsequently BMNL changed its registered name to Wilhelmsen Meridian Navigation Ltd in 2009 in line with regional rebranding.
