KEPO is a certified organization established in 2021, under the articles of 10 and 11 of the law No. 1 for the year of 2011 issued by Kurdistan Parliament and governed by laws of the Presidency of Ministers Council of Kurdistan Region, with an objective of bridging expertise and opportunities between KRG and UAE. KEPO plays a key role of supporting the government and private sector in KRG to connect to parallel bodies in UAE, initially Economic, Social, and Tourism, to be able to fast forward the economy wheel at the region, and present the opportunities to partners. KEPO is also a mediator of introduction, cooperation, establishment of those ties between both nations.
