The Community Associations Institute Arizona Chapter (CAI AZ), based in Phoenix, is the primary organization that advocates for homeowner associations (HOAs) in Arizona. It is one of the larger CAI chapters in the United States and has more than 700 members. In Arizona, it is estimated there are approximately 10,000 community associations and approximately 1.2 million homes within these covenant-protected communities. CAI AZ is dedicated to helping community associations meet the expectations of their residents and encourages community harmony. CAI AZ promotes laws and regulatory policies that support responsible self-governance and effective management of HOAs. CAI AZ offers a number of educational courses to provide the tools and resources for board members, managers, and homeowners to better run their associations.
