Here we are, finally! With the support and encouragement of the maritime fraternity to establish something for the benefits of pilots, for pilots and by pilots, The All India Maritime Pilots’ Association (AIMPA for short) was born! We are now a registered organization that works towards enhancing the Safety , security and promoting the Welfare of pilots. Not waiting for the tide to turn, we are striving for improvements in the pilotage eco-system. We are engaged with the right people, listening to affected parties, taking up pilot safety, security and welfare issues with ports and government authorities, and so on. Because, there is a person on the ladder every single day at every single port!
