The Consolidated Dispatch Agency (CDA) was created March 17, 2013. It was a merger between the Leon County Sheriffs Office and the Tallahassee Police Department. The CDA provides emergency dispatch services for the City of Tallahassee and the unincorporated areas of Leon County. It's more thank 100 employees are responsible for a jurisdiction of approximately 284,000 people. The CDA dispatches for all law enforcement in Leon county and City of Tallahassee. Leon County Emergency Medical Service (EMS) and Tallahassee Fire Department are privately contracted in the center working in a day to day partnership with the CDA.
