The CitySprouts mission is to cultivate curiosity and wonder for all children with hands-on science learning through urban gardens. Our innovative partnerships with 21 public schools in Boston and Cambridge give thousands of children on-going opportunities to learn from nature during their elementary education. Our tuition-free summer and after school program for 11-14 year olds creates a community for young people to learn about their natural environment, engage in science and engineering through ecosystems and food systems, and explore their emerging identity as young adults.
