Sshrishti is a highly credible Delhi based organization committed to creating a literate an empowered India. Over the last ten years Sshrishti has impacted the lives of over 5000 underprivileged children living in our city’s slums by bringing them quality education for the early years along with nutrition and basic healthcare and mainstreaming them into government/private schools. Bridging the digital divide is another of Sshrishti’s core activities from which more than 2000 children in remote villages have learnt to use the computers. Sshrishti is also impacting lives of marginalized women by giving them opportunities for resuming their education and acquiring vocational skills. The women thus trained are also encouraged to supplement their income by producing handicrafts which are marketed by Sshrishti. In order to improve the lives of the marginalized women Sshrishti is now working at various levels to improve their quality of life, increase their knowledge base and enhance the capacity for income generation.
